BOV question for fd's

dont laugh... probably dumb but,

I havent seen many loud BOV's on Rx-7's or loud spooling turbos.... can you not achieve a loud BOV psssst sound or loud spooling sound with rotary motor?

Seems like all i can hear on fd's are loud exhausts. When i finally get an fd i want my turbos and BOV sound to be loud, not my exhaust. Thanks in advance

My stock twins are plenty loud and my BOV (HKS SSQV) is even louder. The BOV gets louder the more boost pressure there is in the pipes and at 14psi it hurts many people's ears. I've gotten several complaints. Also allowing the stock twins to breathe better makes them much more niticeable. With intake, FMIC, and a full 3" exhaust they are loud for stock turbos. Nowhere near the volume of a large T4 turbo, but it's obvious my car is turbocharged when I drive by.

its because we arn't retarted and we know that loud BOVs dont serve any power gain at all. us rotary owners put our money into REAL mods.

I wanted to say something similar to what was just said, but I was trying to be nice for a change.............................. lol I would suggest if you're main concern about a car is the volume of turbo and BOV then you shouldn't be looking at an FD... Main concern should be keeping the damn thing running!
