boost controller question

I just bought a Greddy Spec-2 boost controller and I noticed that I can turn down the boost, that I could only raise it up % wise. Is there a boost controller that could lower your boost past stock boost.

if you turn the spec-2 off or all the way down, it should give you 7-8psi, which is all the wastegate will let it go

Long story short, yes you can lower it down below stock boost, but only to 7 psi.

When the boost controller is off it boost the stock boost level. And when you lower the settings all the way down, it also boost the stock boost level. Is there a way that I am over looking to lower the boost.

you can't go any further than stock boost, the wastegate does not allow it. only way to fix it, is to change the actuator for your wastegate to accept lower boost levels

To lower the boost you must lower the spring rate of the actuator . You must swap in a weaker spring .You can not go lower than the spring rate in the actuator .

The poblem is that the boost controller wont lower the boost past the stock boost. The reason I want this is im getting a frount mount and I want to get a mid pipe but I dont want to be boost more then 10psi cause I need to kill some time till I get an ecu.
