Bad Coolant seal?

Well car is idling like crap, pulled the plugs and there is a little bit of coolant on the rear rotor side. Plenty of white smoke while it is running. Bad Cooland seal? I am planning on pulling the motor friday but is there anything I should check first?

Thanks Jeremy

If you have coolant on your plugs then it's a bad coolant seal. Be very careful reusing housing that may be warped.

If there is coolant in the combustion chamber, then there really isn't anything else to check. Either it is a bad internal coolant seal or the seal retaining wall has failed.

Would a green tint in the oil wiped off the dipstick mean coolant in the oil? No other symptoms, but just checked recently changed oil and saw that; never seen before. '94, 91 K miles, original engine, only mod is a downpipe replacing pre-cat converter. No measurable loss of coolant from reservoir.

My white smoke was due to a cracked iron. Save yourself the time of searching for answers and remedies and just get it rebuilt.
Trust me on this one...
