Which AST to buy?
My stock AST mounts are broken.
I called the Mazda dealer and they said they didn't have the mounts and I would have to buy a new Intercooler with the AST together!
Well, that didn't concern coz I figured I would want to replace the stock AST with an aftermarket one anyways.
Currently I came across 3 different brands:
Pettit Racing AST
Tri-Point Engineering AST (But I couldn't find it on their website?)
ASI AST (I heard that they had thicker aluminum walls than the Pettit?)
Are there any other brands available?
Which one is the best?
Do they come with their mounts?
Thanks!

I like the looks and structure of the the AS. I ordered an ASI over 3 weeks ago. Theyve been on back order. Could only find one location that has them. Ive had to split my stock ast at the seam (where it was leaking), dremeled the channel and rib on the top and bottom halves then used a lot of JB weld applied to both halves. Wrapped it tight with a self stick hi temp metal tape for extra strength and to keep the glue bead in. Then clamped it good and tight. Works fine but its still plastic. Im just about ready to CAD one up and have the CNC guys at work cut one for me.
You could put your own bracket on yours in the mean time till some ASI ASTs surface or you could do the bypass scenario.

I ditched mine. All the aftermarket units I've seen are simple metal cans without the baffles that the stock unit has. If you are set on having an AST I would replace it with another stock unit.
