I already have a WTB thread going in the Classifieds but I thought I'd ask here anyway.
I've been trying to track down a set of Apexi Side Skirts, but it seems NO ONE has them in stock and they are either being discontinued (one shop told me this) or they are back ordered for a month.
Can someone point me in the direction of someone who might have them in stock, or if you know if they are being discontinued. I've been looking for a similar style side skirt to match my 99 spec front end, but I can't find a single one that looks remotely close in the clean tasteful style of the Apex Side Skirts.
*IF* you can get them, be prepared to wait. A local buddy has them. He bought his set 4-5 years ago but it took about 7-8 months for him to receive it.
As I have stated many times when this thread type pops up every other week.... Apexi isn't sending them to the USA anymore. They are not in a high enough demand. This is why Chuck made his replicas. Last I knew Chuck was getting out of the business, so that is probably why he does not have any.

They are nice but now what everyone makes them out to be, I had a pair and sold them. If you like that style check out the 99 spec side skirts, much better IMO. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-R...QQcmdZViewItem
I don't think the OEMs are what some make them out to be. I think the 2-piece nature of them looks like ****, creating that line. Sideskirts on cars 99% of the time flow as one piece across the bottom.

I had one company check with Apexi while I was on the phone (a big sponsor of this site) and they said they would have more in 2 weeks. Then another big sponsor from this site told me they are being discontinued.
WTF.... I just need to know if I can get my hands on them or not. If not, I'm going to have to contact wheelchoice and see if they can get me a set from Japan.
So if I do get fucked over and can't get the Apex side skirts......any other popular recommendations that look good with the 99 spec front end?
I'll try to bid on those 99 spec side skirts on ebay, but if I don't win, then I need another option. Anyone have suggestions? I haven't seen anything else I like besides the Apexi side skirts.

FDNewbie always seems to have a few sets of OEM skirts. Drop him a pm and see if he can help you out.
love the APexi side skirts. That's why I jumped on the bandwagon when Chuck did the group buy. Now I just have to put them on lol What it's been like two years since I had them lol. Second choice is the 99 OEM ones but IMO is far second
apex skirts are basically oem but in one piece. i went with oem because of the material. that line doesnt bother me at all. like what purerx7 stated, if its done right, itll look very nice.
besides..i dont think its that hard to find some replica apexi skirts
just wait for a deal to pop up
If you want some that look exactly like the Apexi then get the N1.

Got a pic? The one on your site is too small to see. I haven't seen any close up pictures of it, Chuck at Rotaryextreme told me the same thing (look into the N1)
I saw on your site they are the only side skirts listed that modification is necessary to fit? Anything in particular? And the question of the year: do you have them in stock lol
They are very easy to install. Took me probably an hour to do both sides.
I know Chuck has a set in stock. Give him a call or if you cant reach him I can have him send them directly to you.
