Any Experience with Stock BOV/CRV Failure? What would cause this?
In addition to my previous posts, I have revised the subject to reflect on the current situation.
My boost pattern was 14-5-6, then 12-8-12 once i replaced the bov/crv. Now it's back to 14-5-6 after i "blew" them again.
My BOV/CRV were leaking pressure at 5PSI, they should hold til 15PSI if I am correct. Well I replaced them with another stock setup and it all worked fine and dandy, for about 15 minutes of hard driving. Now I get the same symptoms, and the BOV/CRV are shot again.
Now most people have no problems boosting 14PSI on a stock BOV, I am doing 13PSI with full exhaust, (DP, MP, Catback), Intake, 3mm, Ported WG. And the Power FC on stock maps.
What would cause my BOV/CRV to stop working correctly. Perhaps too much pressure is ruining the internal spring?
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks a lot,
