Air pump delete - which solenoids from rat's nest?

I'm doing the air pump delete this weekend
Looking at the vacuum diagrams, it appears that B and C ("Relief 1" and "Switching" solenoids will no longer serve a purpose.
Is that right?
If so, any reason I shouldn't remove them and cap the associated vacuum lines?
What do you guys use to cover/protect unused electrical connectors in the engine bay?

My car is a RHD manual FWIW

Thanks

Read up on "simplified sequential", this covers some of what you're asking.

You are correct on those 2 solenoids. But, you will want to remove the air control valve and block it off with a block off plate, if memory serves you may still get some odd noises and such.

By the same token, the EGR system is totally worthless on the FD, Mazda ditched it in the US on the '95s and never had it in Japan. Also the double throttle is just there to keep you from going full throttle when the engine is cold, that's it.

For the loose connectors, if you have a stock ECU you may want to install resistors to keep the Check Engine light away. If you have a PowerFC it won't care.

That said, you have a few options. Wrapping in electrical tape is the quick and dirty. Snipping the wire back and wrapping over it in tape is the next step, final would be breaking the harness down and removing all the wiring out of the harness. I've done #2 a number of times, just be CERTAIN the wires are securely insulated and won't short on each other or anything.

Thanks Dale

My car is JDM so I have no EGR, which is nice.
When I ordered the idler pulley from FFE, the only block-off plate I ordered was for the split-air bypass. Guess I might've made a mistake there.
There was a post on here where someone said that was the necessary block-off for air pump deletion. It was only after I ordered that I was wondering where that plate would actually go

I don't want to wait another 2 weeks for another block-off plate to come. So any reason I shouldn't just reinstall the ACV and block off the pipes/vac lines?

I'm on a PFC, so I'm not worried about error codes.
