aftermarket alarm setting off factory alarm

Did anyone ever find a fix for this? My aftermarket alarm which unlocks the doors sets of the factory alarm(horn beeps, lights pop up and down).If not how can I just disconnec the factory alarm.

I had a prob. that was kind of simular to that. When I would do the remote start it would set off the factory alarm. I took it up to the shop that put it in for me and they did a minory relay wiring, by that it disconected the factory alarm system some how. I would guess if you jus disconect the factory alarm that may fix it.

use the disarm wire from the aftermarket alarm to disable the factory alarm, or just disable the factory alarm. the factory alarm wires are located on the door locks, you will have to take off the door panel. i traced mine (small green wire on my 93 touring) to the black cpu box under the driver's side kick panel.
