Rear Bushing Inspection

theres been a bad rear suspension bushing knocking around on the passenger side for a little while, so today i took a peek under there to see if i could see anything, but everything appeared to be normal.

so my question is, can you visually tell if a bushing is bad, and if not, how can you test to see if it is?

jack the wheels up in the back and take each wheel and try to move it forward and back...not in a rolling direction i mean against the wheel from its face...see if it moves at all as the wheel is connected through to the bushings...if it moves and creaks your bushings are wearing out...i have a slight knocking on my back right side and with the car jacked up the right rear wheel can be wobbled almost a cm so its not that bad...
