After 20 years of owning my '94 R2 it finally happened.

This looks pretty good. It's actually folded in pretty badly. I can't believe how much of a dumbass I am.
Crunched it. I've had this car for going on 20 years and have done lots of shouldn't haves and known betters. Never had a ding other than rock chips.

I had a rough summer. Wife kicked me out of MY house for a few months. Lived out of my Toyota, didn't see my daughter almost at all. When we did start talking again we decided to take our '16 TEP 4Runner on a trip. As usual (and partly responsible for the previously mentioned issue....). I was in the truck waiting for her to get her crap together and get in. I absent mindedly took my foot off the brake to roll out of the garage, however the rear lift hate was open... So I smashed the lift gate up pretty good.
A $900 deductible and a week later, we go pick up the truck at the shop. We drive back to the hospital where I work to pick up the RX7 and take it home. I hop out, go downstairs in the parking garage, plop down in my car and back it directly into a support beam.. Yep. 20 minutes it took to ruin another car, and I've kept liability on this so its out of pocket.
I really can't afford to fix it right now so this may be the beginning of the end. I've had it since my early 20s and now I'm 44 so maybe I'm just done. Can't fix the bash or the turbos (yep still original) or whatever else is STILL leaking under the hood. With a 2 year old daughter and a pending move maybe it's time.

If anybody has a drivers side rear corner light assembly they don't want, I'm in need.

Thanks guys.

Damn, sorry to hear about your troubles Donovan. Hang in there bud.

You're looking for the small red light assembly that sits behind the rear wheel? I have the one from my old VR R1 that I bought back in 1998, modified the holy hell out of, then totaled on NJMP Lightning. You're welcome to it, just PM me your shipping address

Yes sir. Can a paypal you something for shipping at least?

It was a crap summer and we racked up some serious attorney's fees just to drop the whole thing. She put me out on the day of our second anniversary too.
I guess what really matters is I'm back home and get to be with my kiddo as much as possible. She's 2 and ALMOST as much of a handful as the car is.

And she loves cars like her daddy 😍

Don't worry about the car(s).

It still runs and drives - and looks mostly nice I've had a similar dent in mine for 8 years now from someone trying to park their truck in the spot next to mine. Happened during the market meltdown of 2007 and while I got insurance money to fix it, I needed those funds for 'life'.

Hold on to the car if you can. Mine just got back on on the road after 12 years of being in my garage with a blown engine. Two kids later, wife and house I finally driving it again $$$. Priorities made me park it but i figured it was paid for so it was not costing me anything to keep it in my garage while i awaited the right time to put it on the road. Bought my car at the age of 23 I am 42. Feels like the fountain of youth every time I get in it now.😁😁
