they have cc/min and lbs/hr. Those results were in ml/something? (same as CC) but on a pulsed test, rather than a full open. The injectors flowed that amount of fuel in Ml over an amount of time im not sure about pulsed at 10,000 rpm...i think lol.

i deffo cant see anything relating to ml/min on that website!

Hi Bobfish,
I've been looking through your thread, and what you're doing looks like a lot of fun. I'm want to learn how to be able to take apart my own car as well, and i was just wondering if you were disassembling it by looking at a book or by knowledge.. probably both?

HDP is right, decent tooling is essential for this job.

I am doing this job using the mazda workshop manuals and a couple of videos + common sense.

I torqued it to 60ft-lbs, so i guess yes over torqued, by 3 ft lbs. Also depends on the calibration of my torque wrench.
in any case, ive fixed it now, and toruqed all 4 up to 50 ft lbs

Bobfish,

You are an inspiration! I could never take the time to do this with 3 kids and a wife. It looks like fun and watching your progress makes me want to try. But alas! Not enought time in the day. I have a Fluidyne radiator waiting to go in now and have not had a chance since I stored my RX for the winter. How did you unbolt that baby from the bell housing? Most peeps on the forum say it is easier to take it out with the tranny? Keep up the good work!

AFAIK the only kit that installs without cutting the frame are Jays' Sleek Lights (See the GB section).

Unfortunately the light output is pathetic and you won't be able to drive at night any more.

Hey guys,
sorry for the lack of updates, not had much time to work on the car, and when i have had time ive been doing work rather than on here!

Latest progress....can anyone identify the two circled areas in the photos of the wiring loom? is on a RHD just down by the A/C bracket. The one with a connector im sure will become apparent, but the one thats just a wire ive very worried about.

Top pic is the wire to the power steering pump pressure switch connector. Not sure what the bottom pic is, can't really see it.

ITs been this way for a while now i just havent bothered posting pics:

Picked up my coolant and oil today, will order oil filter from mazda tomorrow. Cant fit engine yet, gotta get interior done first. That should be done today or tomorrow. After thats in, engine and hooking everything up should take one full day if i work quick, lights 2 days to wire, spray, and fit, wheels, brakes and diff brace a day; i'm determined to get this car finished by the end of this coming week so i can use it for the weekend, so keep your eyes on this thread!
