not sure if its the pully or not, but I recently replaced my front cover gasket and had the main pully off reinstalled it with an impact gun, is this alright, I checked all the belt tensions and they seemed fine, any suggestions?

"main pulley"....the e-shaft pulley, I assume...
sounds like it's not on their tight... you should have torqued it to 90-100 lb*ft, and used a liberal amount of locktite on it.. Once you get it screwed on semi-tight, you can release the clutch and put it in 5th gear... that's how I was able to get 90 lb*ft on it without spinning the motor.
