taillight glue

so i had to replace one of my taillights bc someone hit my car when it was parked and the new one i got wasnt quite aligned right. i had to heat it up in the oven and take the lens off yada yada.
what kind of glue do i use to put the lens back on?

Most headlights use black rtv silicone from the factory. I'd use the same for your tails. YouTube "bake headlights" or "headlights diy" or something if your unsure of what I'm talking about.

alright ill check out both, i was assuming it would be more of a silicone like glue than a tape.
