Should I buy? 700$ turbo 87

Got a chance to buy a 1987 turbo rx7
Pros mint body 160 km from California good undercarriage no rust on car. No leaks only 700 bucks
Bad news
No windshield back window or passenger window in car for past two years
Car doesn't power up when you put a battery in(nothing lights up in dash very small spark when ground to frame.)
Now I have a parts car na 86 with all the glass
The floor isn't rotten I pulled carpet to check but has had water in multiple times and I think I would have to gut the interior to clean it properly
What's your opinions it's a serious project car not sure if it's worth the risk

I'd pass. For a non-runner, plenty of members on a regular basis get more complete cars for less money.

Ya I told him 500 bucks I'd take it he's got a few other people interested in it. So we will wait and see
Only reason I want it is because it's hard to find these cars in sask especially rust free one's
He said previous owner ram before parked and he moved it into the alley and some kids destroyed the windows and never did fix it

My main concern is the wiring issues
With water being in the carpets dash etc

I'd worry more about rust than the wiring.
Cars that sit (and worse, sit with the interior exposed) tend to rot more than rust.

Possibly, but I'll bet they live in a more target rich environment than Canada.

It's pretty rare to see any rx7 under 1000 here maybe 4 for sale in all sask
I pulled the carpet up no rot in floors I was amazed banged all the floor pans and there solid
Only thing is under the carpet was a bunch of tiny bugs so it would need to be gutted

heh.an Rx7 is as rare as a freakin' TREE in Saskatchewan!

All the kidding aside,I kind of wonder about threads where someone is asking whether to buy a car or not, when the guys on here would tell you to buy just about Anything since it is not their money to fart around with..(they'd just "laugh at ya later"..teehee..he bought THAT???..OMG!)

But for 700 bucks..what the heck..if it has a good shell,..**** the parts are worth it.
(it it'll fit in a carry on then I'd fly out to see it,,hahhaha!)

you guys are nuts. maybe 10 years ago i would pass a on a rough and beat up T2 for that price.

now a rough and beat up T2 with all the parts is gonna get twice as much, parting it out would net 3 times what you paid for it.

hell, if anyone wants to sell any TII's in florida IM me.
