oil leak, possible vacuum leak, and dying on ignition

Ok I have a few problems with my turbo fc right now. I'm very rapidly losing oil and there's almost none under my car. Upon starting the car I can hear what sounds like a vacuum leak but the sound only lasts a fraction of a second. And finally today when I started the car it died once, then twice, the started and idled just fine. I've recently replace the starter and a blown gasket in the intake manifold. Could all of these be related to one problem? And if so any ideas on where to start looking?
