Question Non 3800 RPM Hesitation

My car hesitates at about 2000 to 2200 RPM as I accelerate in first gear. It only happens in first though. Any suggestions? There is no 3800 RPM hesitation, if that helps!

HEY!!

Does it happen on a quick acceleration or when you're accelerating at a gas-burning friendly pace?

That's strange. Sounds like it has something wrong with it (LOL)

It happens no matter how I accelerate. The only way I can avoid it is by riding my clutch for 5 or 6 seconds as I come off the line. Accelerating hard definately accenuates the lag, but it happens no matter what!!!!!
