I emailed Mariah Motorsports about the N/P SC and they replied with the info below. I know that there are a lot of people that are interested in this setup so I thought that I would pass the info along to everyone.

Here is the information you requested.

2nd Gen Supercharger (86-91)
----------------------------
Mariah carries the Nelson/Paxton Supercharger system. The SC retails in the
$3500. range. The SC system is a centrifugal type blower. The system is
designed to be used in the 6-8 PSI range. You can expect a 50% gain in
horsepower from this system. The system is a complete bolt-on to your
existing 13B 6-port OEM parts including the stock FI system. You'll also be
happy to know, it is 50 state smog legal.

NOTE: This SC system is currently out of production but, we are hoping to
get enough interest to put it back into production. Please call us for
details. All shortcomings of the original kit have been corrected and
updated.

wow, that's great news. i just wish i wasn't a poor college student then i'd be in. hopefully i'll be able to pick one up in a few years.

Well, '89-'91 should have adequate fuel supply for up to 8-8,5 psi, so the engine wont starve for fuel with the SC pushing that much air...

as for internals, dunno. 9:1 is quite a lot bigger than 8:1 or 8,5:1 (TII), and with the same boost (8psi) it could get quite hot in there...

I've heard that Mariah has exclusive rights to the SC kit so no other suppliers can offer one.

Rather than spend a fortune on something thats "out of production," how about a custom SC? I figured you could purchase a head unit for about $1700, a boost dependant fuel pressure regulator, and ,what the hell, tube up an intercooler. If you mount the charger on the drivers side and route the air through a front mount I/C, seems like it should work out nicely.
Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone has tried using the lysholm SC/ intercooler setup off of a milenia S? Seems like it would be fairly inexpensive to find one at a JY.

Much easier said than done. I've given lots of thought to making an intake(before and after the S/C) and have decided that the amount of time needed and the eventual outlay of money to do it right just isin't worth my time. Sure it can be done but its not easy.

That is funny because I just talked with them on the phone about a week and a half ago and they told me straight up that they did not have enough interest in the kit to do a production run and it would be a waste of there time to push the kit. And that they had other things to do. I was up set and he sounded a little pissed about the whole situation. There is a forum member SuperchargedREX that bought the kit when it was produced and he has all the info on building it your self. http://www.geocities.com/boatseason/index.html I don’t know if it is on his site but I bet you he would not mind if you sent him an e-mail. And if you are worried about the kit in CA go to http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermk...es/devices.htm and select supercharger system and there you will get the C.A.R.B. approved # under the Nelson/Paxton kit . Have fun
