I have searched and found it to be a spring problem in the past. But i'm beginning to think it is something else. The driver side back end of my car sits a good 1" lower then the right side. It is driving me insane at the moment. The weird thing is that it has no effect on handling, or tracking of the car at all. Wtf is going on here guys? Springs? Subframe? It would have to be something drastic for it to sit an whole inch lower, correct? I just need a few ideas to toss around while the car is down for the winter.

stock springs? its pretty standard road lean. most old cars get it. replace springs, and possibly bushings

springs and bushings.

You can confirm it is the springs by swapping sides. If the tilt also moves to the other side then the springs are shot.

I think he should start dating heavier women.. assuming he means the left side like the manuals do (drivers side). . he gets a heavier woman, he'll weigh down the right side and everything will be happy..

*shrug* no, its just one of the springs/struts is sagging more than the other side. More than likely anyhow.

Ermm... you do have 4 of the same tires all the way around right? Same Tire PSI? -- just thought I'd cover all possibilities.

Im having the same problem on my 91 NA. It has Intrax springs and KYB gas adjusts. The passenger side of my car sits approx. 1 inch higher than the driver side....

As someone mentioned earlier, it's pretty standard lean.

I had noticed a similar problem on my FC but it quickly wen't away after new struts, springs and bushings on all four corners..

I'm having the same problem. I just changed out my shocks and springs and I'm still having the issue. All my shocks and springs were toast (original) but even after I changed out to brand new tokico shocks and tanabe springs I still get the slant. Any Ideas?

hmm my fc with tein stech springs and stock blown shocks sits noticiably lower on the driver side as well

I know this is in the 2nd gen sec but my 1st gen is like .5 to 3/4 an inch lower on the driver side too. New springs and shocks...but no new bushings. I also just did wheels and tires all the same...maybe I need bushings? It is not too drastic, but enough that I know it is there.

Pass side I can stick a finger in. Drive side finger does not fit at all....

Yeah same here. New shocks and springs and tires but not new bushings (they looked fine) . Anyways I know it's a cool gangsta lean but I'm a cracker so I don't get to be cool like the gangstas

Edit: oh the shocks are non-adjustable tokico blues.

I'm guessing the bushings that are on the stock shocks (not sure what they are called) but there are 1 to 2 on each shock when you pull them off. So I just put the same ones back on. They didn't look warn out or dry rotted.

this is gonna sound a bit crazy and correct me if this isnt true but my car sags only when the handbrake is on so the other day i had my car on jack stands checking some things and i noticed i could spin my one tire with the handbrake on and my car sags to the side where the hand brake works so check the hight wiht the hand brake on and off that my .02

^ The handbrake runs to both rear calipers. You're right, that does sound crazy.
