Need some engine building advice
So my first 6-port turbo finally crapped out. After 2 years of 10psi, 2 chassis and beating the **** out of it all the way.
The story goes the guy I bought it from got a block rebuilt by atkins in '05 with a streetport of some kind and never got it running due to bad wiring. I went to look at it and the rear rotor had no compression on any faces.... Tore it apart and found that the little peice left between the 5th and 6th ports had broken off and killed the rotor. Luckily no damage was done to the housing or the irons. I got a real good price for, in essence, a fresh motor. I paid $250 for all the short block.
So on to version 2.0. I got these irons and need someone to check my logic. On my set up I port matched to t2 LIM to the 6 port block so that the aux ports are always open. So is it going to matter if this little piece is gone? My plan is to smooth it out and then do the front iron to match so that they'll flow close to the same.
Front iron
Rear iron

But since my intake manifold is from the 4-port turbo the there is no difference between the 5th and 6th port as far as when they open. Both get air at the same time, when the secondary throttle plates open. So it's the same as a huge secondary port on turbo irons.
