If you have a pacific glass sunroof...
...can you send me the wording or snap a digital picture of the wording on the top of the glass. I've got one, but it seems a hair too small for my RX-7 which makes me think the one I have is for a 1st gen RX-7.
Thanks in advance.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
First gen roofs were only pop up, they didn't slide back like the 2nd gen roofs do.
Therefore the mounts are radically different and can not be mixed up or interchanged.

Sorry, the words were the 1st thing to come off mine when I polished out the scratches.
I think "a hair too small" describes the size correctly; I haven't installed mine yet, but it looks like it will require a slightly thicker/different rubber seal than the stock metal sunroof cover.
If I put it over the stock steel sunroor cover on the car it covers the metal part almost perfectly, but that leaves the rubber area and some rubber to glass sunroof area that still needs to be filled.
Hope that helps a bit....

Yes, that helps a lot. Sounds like what I'm seeing.
Do you only have only 2 bolt holes on each side? I got weatherstripping with the roof, but when I used it for fitting, there is still a big gap. Although the weatherstripping I got with the roof is in very bad shape though.
What are you plans for replacing the weatherstripping? I haven't had any luck in finding stuff to use. The weatherstripping on the metal sunroof will not work; different mold.
