Diy/homemade "stuff"
I have been away from the RX7 scene for a year now due to wedding/new house and am getting it ready to be back on the road. I have been searching the forums for the diy/homemade stuff and can't seem to find anything. Is there no real grassroots hotrodding going on here anymore?

The guy that re-covered his dash was real good. I got a couple of things that I put up that I'm doing myself.
Hell I put a step by step picture tutorial on making peripheral ports. Rotor housing resurfacing and making replacement upholstery may not fall under DIY but it's pretty interesting. I will be covering how to install the covers though and that is nice to know. Anyone who has the equipment to do upholstery does not usually need to be told how to do it I put an easy way to remove the roll pins that hold the exhaust ports in the housings which I was told came in pretty handy.
There are lots of DIY's out there but you really have to look. A forum dedicated to DIY would be nice.

Oh, I put a semi DIY on milling a rotor slot to 3mm with a horizontal mill. It has a picture of the setup.
Check out the hobbyist machine shop thread for a cheap way to setup a decent DIY shop.
