^^start pouring out like you just stabbed it with a knife. have your head clear and pan close.

About the weight, Again. are you worried about what??? The counter weights all weigh the same. The fold flywheel had this wight incorporated into it. The new light weight flywheel has none of this weight, hence the need for the counter weight. Since they are all the same weight then how much it weighs is a moot point.....you just need one.
The light wieght flywheel is an attempt to cut down on rotational weight. To get rotational weight spinning it takes more HP. So lighten the RW and gain RWHP.

A bicycle wheel......an ounce on the tire area of a 27" (road bike 700c) is equal in resistance to a pound of stationary weight located on the axle of the same wheel, in terms of getting it going forward.

i know what it does but the counterwieght is also rotational mass and should be included in the wieght of the flywheel. I know what the stock flywheel with its incorperated counterwieght weighs and i know what my flywheel wieghs but my flywheel will not be the only rotating mass, the COUNTERWIEGHT has mass also . What i want to know is very simple if anyone has a scale and a counterweight they could just wiegh one i simply don't have access to a scale i don't understand why you don't get my point

I knida know why your asking but you can't do with out the counter wieght.....and they all weight the same. So why knock your self out. I'm tellin' ya it weighs about 4 lbs. I just put mine in about two weeks ago. I'll go look at the specs I think there is a thread in the Archives. I'm not trying to give you a hard time either...just trying to understand. And I guess I am the only one that wants to take a stab at this as there are a lot of more knowlegeable people than me.

My bad, it was a Hitachi, not a Bosch

It's a Hitachi HW22, it's about $30 per day after tax at the local rental tools. Here's a pic of it that I found on the net:

430 TQ

I just replaced the flywheel, the nut came out on the first try, it took me less than 5 seconds
