ECU Question

Is the S5 N/A ECU the same for both auto and 5-speed transmissions?

The automatic transmission itself has a separate PCM that controls it. Like satch said above, yes. The engine controllers are the same.

Thanks. Completing my auto to manual swap, I tapped into the ECU harness to incorporate 5th gear switch, neutral switch and clutch switch for cruise control. All 3 switches connect to ground, so just making sure both ECUs function the same.
