Door handles broke and I cant get into my car...any suggestions??
Well now both of my door handles broke and the car wont open...and for some reason, my hatch wont open either. Is there anyway to possibly open my car without breaking a window or something??

On my interior handles on my 1991 convertible, the grey one is the door handle and the gold one is the door lock. The door is opened by sliding the grey rod towards the front of the vehicle. This is the interior handle though but I would guess the colors would be the same for the lock and the handle but you say they are not. good luck.

i take it its the exterior handles you are taking about thats already been removed?
the thin silverish rod is for the locking mechanism and the thicker, bent threaded rod is the latch .
First make sure the thing is unlocked, picturing the mechanism in my head, pushing the silver rod should unlock it. if it doesn tryt he other way.
then to unlatch the door, push the thicker, brass rod straight down. use long nose pliers to push it down from its natural position.

If the door is unlocked, you push the vertical one down to pop the hinge, to open the door. When you pull on the door handle when its on, you pull up and the spring pushes down the rod to pop it. So just push down on the rod...

It's harder than I thought. I spend a good 45 minutes trying to break into my car before I gave up. A friend of mine brought HIS FC keys and one of them opened my car. So, if push comes to shove you can try to get another FC key and hope it works.
