crown victoria wheel poke
Hey guys, I just installed the double stepped crown vic mesh wheels. Sitting on 205 50 16 tires. The rears are nice and flush, but the fronts are poking out a bit out of my fender and it looks ugly. I'm using 5mm spacers on the front, but it still seems to be rubbing against my brakes. How do I eliminate wheel poking out? Would it be dumb to run 195s in the front instead of the 205s? If I'm right, that should narrow it down by 10mm, thus removing that ugly wheel poke, yeah?

Got a pic? 205/50-16's with a 5mm spacer in front (225/45 rear) is how most guys make em fit.
The spacer is only REALLY needed if you have 4 pot calipers.

Yeah, that's where I got the info on what tire size to run. I've seen everyone have success with 205 50 16 all around. (or saw that this was a good size to play it safe). But I was just surprised how much it stuck out.

Car is an 87 Turbo so ive got the same 4 pot calipers. What you can do is,
File/Cut/Gring/Chew/Rub/Etc the Casting Bumper that the spokes are hitting. It is just part of the casting and will not have any ill effects.
Grind/Cut it flat and slap your wheels back on. Done.
