Clutch hydros failure, slave flex hose
Took my brother to work this morning. Clutch pedal was incredibly low, could not reliably disengage the clutch enough to get into/shift gears. Get home and the reservoir is almost empty. Prematurely, I ordered a master cylinder (But it's old anyway, good to have replacements on hand, I already have a replacement slave still in-box from several months ago) but upon closer inspection the hose from the hard-line down to the cylinder is leaking. I think that there was a slow leak overnight, and when the clutch was first put-in, the return stroke sucked a big gulp of air into system.
The clerk at SG Imports is trying to locate a replacement hose section, the master cylinder is on the way s mentioned previously. I cannot afford to still have Lucy down come Monday. If the hose cannot be ordered in time, is there a reasonable way for me to either repair or fabricate a replacement?

You're not going to have much luck so close to the weekend. A dealership will need 2-3 business days to get an OEM replacement, and auto parts stores barely stock any of our parts anymore. You can try ordering from Mazdatrix and pay for next day shipping: http://www.mazdatrix.com/f-hydral.htm. The braided stainless line is nice, but you may have to modify the metal bracket on the firewall a bit with a file to get the retaining clip back on.
