Can painting car with hammered rustoleum. pics
I got tired of my Bs messed up paint on my vert (yes it is that messed up) so i bought this hammered dark bronze rustoleum, and sanded the headlight covers, front bumper and fenders with 100 grit sandpaper, and painted a coat of rustoleum on, then a clear coat.
It went on really smooth and cured well, and actually looks really good. It says on the can "covers minor surface imperfections" and "no primer needed" or something along those lines. Looks great for now, if it totally peels or something later, which i doubt it will. I can fix it.
Anyways, here are some big *** pictures.
I also sanded the blinker lenses with 220 then 600 grit and clear coated them. They sure do look smooth.

wow, i cant really tell from the pics, but are there any visible overspray marks, or uneven spray paint marks? any other colors than that? and also is that the can with a adjustable blue nozle tip?

If your going to do rattle can jobs, do it the smart way.
Easy step by step process.
1. Hose down car
2. Buy WET sanding paper kit- includes 220-320-600
3. Sand with 220.
4. Primer if needed.
5. Sand primer with 320.
6. Wash car again.
7. Dry
8. Apply first layer of top coat. Proceed to wet sand with 320. Apply second coat after washing and drying. Wer and again with 320. Apply 3rd and final coat, wet sand with 600.
9. Wash and dry car- apply clear coat. Wet sand with 600, apply second layer of clear coat.
This should give you a very nice and tough finish. I have painted computer cases for 5 years now with this process and it works out great every time.
