adjusting idle, coolant leak, and oil leak at oil filter...please help

hi, i have an 87 turbo 2, and it has a couple problems. ive been screwing around with the screw on the BAC and the screw where the boost sensor is (passenger side shock tower area) trying to get a nice smooth idle. im running a little more than stock boost, and don't want to run lean, so how do i richen it up a little bit. how do i use these screws, which way turns do what.

also, i have an oil leak where the oil filter is. the filter seems to sit on a pedastal which then sits on the engine. is there a gasket or something between the pedastal and engine.

also, i have a coolant leak that seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine right above the turbo, or close by. i can't really get a good look because of the heat shields, but the coolant leaks down and gets on my exaust and really smells and steams. could the coolant actually be comeing out of the side of the engine. where does the coolant run on the side of the engine.

Thanks for any help. i appreciate it.

Can't help you much with the idle adjust, I have an NA. There are a few sites where you can download a manual to help out here.

The oil filter mounts on the rear end housing and uses two o rings for sealing. There are two nuts underneath this mounting boss that you can use a 10mm wrench the remove/tighten the oil filter base.

The coolant leak could be from a hose or fitting. If it is from the engine itself then you have major problems. The only way to know for sure is to remove enough items from the engine until you can see for sure where it is coming from. There are simply too many places for coolant to leak from to give a definitive answer.

The variable resistor screw is turned clockwise to enrich and anticlockwise to lean. That only effects idle. Nothing else. Nada. The bac also effects only idle. Turn in to reduce air thru the bac at idle and out to let more air in. Both items to adjust idle. The manual, located at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com , in section 4a for N/A and 4B for turbo, give instructions for setting the idle. That manual is FREEEEEEE. There is a initial set plug that needs to be jumpered prior to setting the idle. And the coolant leak. There are too coolant lines going to the turbo. The one one the outboard side of the turbo is oval in shape with two 10mm nuts holding it on . Stare at it and see if it leaks. If not that one its the other. Frankly I forgot what that one looks like. Someone? I'm at work(on break of course) and cant go look.
