88 to 91 transmission swap

I am swapping my 91 transmission out with one from an 88. Non turbo. Is there anything funky I need to do? I know the crossmember has to change. Is there any thing special I need to do with the wiring? Thanks in advance.

I have just finished this swap in a friends FC, and had no problems. The connectors are interchangeable too

86-88 are the same.
89-91 are the same.

To switch them, just use the crossmember (mount, for Omixeo) and you're good to go.
