1988 RX-7 Turbo 10th Anniversary

1988 Mazda RX-7 Turbo 10th Anniversary Limited Edition! A very rare find in this excellent condition. It only has 12,000 actual miles. It has always been kept in a garage and is just like it came off the showroom floor. It runs real well and has all the options. Located in Central Kansas.

Yes, I got it in the wrong section. Yes, I am going to sale it even though I do not want to because it is a really neat car. I am going to start at $20,000 since it is in like showroom condition. Thanks for your interest. I can send you a picture if you send me your e-mail address. It really is a slick looking car.

Hey Coach, do you have the original floormatts in it? If you don't sell the car, i'd buy the floormatts from ya. I hope you don't ask 20k for the floormatts as well though just kidding.

Kelly Blue Book Value $3,815. Good luck with your sale, you might sell it for a nice amount of money on e-bay.

Yeah EBAY is a good place to go with this but i would defenitely not sell it to some dumbfuck that is not well involved with RX-7s. I would only sell it to someone that i would trust and that knew what they were doing. - Gabe

Blue book is worthless on something that old with that few miles. If you notice, there are min's and max's on the value of any car. My girlfriends volvo with 385,000 miles on it (original everything ) blue booked at like $2000. Would you pay 2k for it??? Now 20,000 for that car is a little high. I got mine with 18,000miles 3 years ago for 11k.

I can back that up, I have my original sticker and it says like 24,500 or so...can't remember off the top of my head.

Mine was mint as well. Only flaw was slight signs of wear on the drivers side seat bolster. Had the original rear hatch fluid and headlight washer fluid. Tires are original too...but we had to change those out, they were starting to make too much noise. That, and I don't trust 12 year old (at the time ) tires. I hope you get what you're asking..but be serious here man. Is having 6,000 less miles and a perfect seat worth a 10k price difference????? But if you have lots of time on your hand and don't care about having the car sit around for awhile, you *might* get your price.

Good luck with your sale, but I gotta butt in here.

I think you would be lucky to get 12k

The anniversary editions do not carry a big premium over regular T2s, as they are both rare.

I have seen only a few Turbo IIs (including the 10AE) getting more than $9k stock. This includes cars with about 10k miles on them.

Once again, best of luck in your sale, but, IMO, I think the asking price is high

I personally wouldnt pay more than 7 for the car being sold. Hell, Id rather buy a blown s5 for 1000, put a GOOD motor in it for 4000 and have a nicer + faster car for a lot less. Plus, it is my personal belief that if you baby a rx7 you are hurting the motor.

$24,650 when new in 1988... So there we have it... This whole thread needs to die a quick, quiet death.

Well, I for one hope it does sell that high!

However, last winter a 10th, mint, etc., etc, went in the northern Illinois area for about 8k.

For 20k, I hope you have the window sticker, the advanced shipping notice, and the build sheet (in addition to all the other normal documentation). If so, Hemmings may be a more appropriate place to list such a vehicle.

Good Luck!

I doubt the car is in flawless condition. But like I said, I would never buy a babied rx7. They blow up more often then ones that are driven hard and taken care of.
