Not interested in specifics but in general, I approve of preparedness.

From what I've been reading lately, the hole in the banjo bolt is more restrictive than -8AN line, and people actually get away with running that size line. -10AN seems to be the popular choice. I just bought this kit so I'll follow up.

I believe that those 18mm copper washers are correct though.I'm 99.9% positive I used that size when I had a oil leak on the stock lines.
Only took 6 stores to get them!

Yeah, the front cover is M16. Fitting at the back of the engine is M18, as well as the two on the cooler.

I priced out new oil cooler lines made from all Vibrant Fabrication items with nice braided nylon hose. and it is $131.
You could honestly probably go even cheaper than that and still use more quality fittings.
Just some food for thought.

A lot (if not all) of the AN kits are -10!

Gonna be replacing mine soon as well actually, still have a ton of AN line somewhere.

Don't see what the issues is, so not sure why you are worried for your butthole.

Butt, just be careful with some of those eBay AN fittings. A friend had a bunch so I took a look at them. They were made of copper! But painted to look like the standard red/blue fittings. Which is odd, because copper is a lot more expensive than aluminium. This was discovered due to persistent leaks. And it was very soft copper, so it deformed once tightened down and was sealing not on the taper, but on the fact it squished into the male flare. Could only be used once because of this.

Following up on this, everything showed up except for the copper washers, keep that in mind when ordering them. I ended up getting them from the dealer (which I'll never no again, 3.50 a piece ouch).

With that said everything came together nicely, and I didn't really have any problems. I can't test them under pressure yet because my car is under the knife. I'll follow up on that when it's going.

Also another thing, I had 3 extra feet of hose left over, just in case anyone wants to save more money. I prefer to have extra just in case.

If it could do it again, i would have went with a 45 in the rear of the engine so i could run the hose under the steering shaft.

I took a different approach with one of the adapters at the oil cooler - I went with a banjo adapter.

If you mount you oil cooler right side up, it won't be an issue.

Any fastener or hydraulic store will have the crush washers in stock. Some plumbing stores.

Oreilly carries em. I originally went to the dealer for the silver crush washer between the oil fitting and the front cover. The retard behind the counter was covering for the parts guy and didnt wanna do his job, so they didnt have it. i just picked up the copper washers cause i was there. He kept trying to outsmart me, but if you dont own an rx7, and youre trying to outsmart an rx7 owner, youre most likely gonna get owned, as he did.

This is tracy mazda in california BTW. The parts guy robert knows his ****. The retard didnt.

Yeah, our local dealer has told me:
a) the touch up paint for one of my cars didn't exist (funny...I found it at another dealer no problem)
b) that the rear brake line = front brake line on the FC. Ordered a front, and a rear with the banjo bolt came in and he swore it was the right one, even when shown a picture and part number for the actual front one.
c) that the pilot bearing seal for an S1 rx8 won't fit an rx7 - because he was having trouble finding the rx7 part number as active so I suggested he look up the rx8 one as it's more current. I know it's the same from the 1970's to 2011. He decided to talk down to me like I was a dumb little girl. I hung up on him.
