Time for an update! Unfortunately it includes some bad news, but fortunately it also includes some good news, and then even more good news!
Bad news first... got in a small accident with the RX7 Thankfully it wasn't too bad but requires some body work and new parts.
The good news! It's going in by the end of the month to get fixed up and more! I have already picked up a replacement bumper, bumper support, headlight housing, and fender. Also snagged a pair of Shine Auto Spec-RE side skirts. The car is getting repainted, decided to stay with the stock 'Sunrise Red' color. The side moldings will get painted black, the tail lights will be repainted, and the mirrors will be getting replaced with CF APR Formula GT3 mirrors. Also there will be some shaving done: Washer nozzles, antenna, emblems, and possibly the 3rd brake light. All this should be done by summer.
And the even more good news! Picked up a Mitsubish Evo 9! Haven't had time to take a picture yet as it currently sits but heres some pics the po took:
Normally I wouldn't buy an already built/modded car but this thing was a killer deal and built very well with quality parts. Right now it puts down 430whp but its runs on E85 which kinda sucks since the nearest ethanol station near me is about 30 miles away, so I will be switching it back to pump gas which will bring it down to about 375whp. Car is sitting on some BBS wheels right now but really liking the NT-03's that were on it so may go with those, maybe powder coat them gold or bronze. Will be taking off the canards (bumper and side skirt) as i'm going for a cleaner look. Tail lights are getting swapped for jdm evo 7 tail lights. After that it will pretty much stay as it is till its paid off.
Will try and post some pics of the progress made on the RX7 throughout winter and spring.

Sick evo Squeeb! The guy's at my shop are DSM freaks. They build these things all dang day. We've had some really hott evo's come in. Between Brian and Max, they know everything about tuning DSM's. Brian has 2 evo X's... jerk.

Hello. It's the first time I see this topic.
I like the car, including the rear diffuser, I just don't agree with the way the diffuser was mounted... I mean, bolted to the car bodywork instead of the chassis? The hell...
And those BBS wheels... I would love to have them on my RX-7.
Take good care of that car!

Going in this week to have some body work done on the evo and to check on the progress being made on the RX7, if any, and snag some pictures. Going to look into and discuss doing some sort of widebody. Also ordered a set of Enkei NT03's for the Evo:
