Squeeb's Convertible
Hola guys and gals! Been on here for about a year now observing and learning and decided it was time to make a progress thread. Got this car for free but under shitty circumstances (inherited - uncle passed away)
It's a 1988 N/A with 65,000 original miles and it's fairly clean but plan on making it much cleaner. Mods, plans, and pics:
Engine: I plan on doing a TII swap down the road so keeping it pretty simple for now.
- RB dual cat-back exhaust (pre-silencer and cat removed)
- RB header (wrapped)
- K&N intake
Suspension:
- JIC coilovers
- TC Sportline strut bar
Exterior: I plan on completing all of my exterior/interior before doing the TII swap.
- HID's, smoked turns and tails
- Shine Auto CF Diffuser
Next on the list:
- Wheels (haven't decided what yet)
- Kirk racing 4 point roll bar
And pictures with my out-dated camera

umm LOOKS like a stock bleepin car with a performance diffuser to me... stock wheels but has a diffuser. looks like parts are being bought out of order wheels first side skirts anything else but a diffuser on a stock s4 that kinda ruins the cleanliness. You pull up behind the car and get excited to see the other sides of the car and there isnt jack there.......super clean car though ok im done being the honest jerk

After I get my wheels and roll bar I'll be re-painting the car. At that point i'll be doing sideskirts, new mirrors (thinking RE but kinda wanna stick with power mirrors so maybe JDM folding), and possibly a new front bumper if I can't find a lip I like for the S4 bumper.

I like it too. Pretty good looking lip for Home Depot Racing. I think the rear diffuser is a bit much but it still looks cool especially with that color scheme. Clean exterior; any interior or engine bay pics to go with it?

For wheels, consider the BBS SUPER RS they differ from the standard RS in that the spokes of the mesh are longer and the step out from the rim isn't as tall.
Compare it to my vert (with rollbar) with the standard BBS RS.
You can find them here: http://www.rbwheels.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1702

Awesome vert, your at about the same point I am with mine, I plan on doing the turbo swap but with my vert being low mileage might as well wait it out till I'm forced to rebuild and collect parts until that time.
I have been looking at rollbars for about a good year now, I like the look of the kirk bar but Im afraid to make the purchase without seeing it first person installed on a car because I didn't want to get it in then have a dramatic difference in how far my seat can go back.
as far as the diffuser I think it looks awesome on the vert, I originally saw a pic of yours a while back and thats what made me debate about getting one in the future.
Get some interior pics up when you get a shot

Because i'm not gonna do a turbo swap for at least a couple of years when im done with school. Making myself wait until then gives me initiative to finish this time :P So I wanted to do at least intake/exhaust to tide me over until then.
