Not as pretty as the one's above, but it's still a fresh rebuild. Stock motor/ports. All new Mazda Apex seals, o-rings, gaskets, springs (except for Pineapple racing HD water seal kit).
Went more for function over form on this one. Hey, still works! And I don't have to worry about it getting dirty either.. LOL.

'87 TII Rebuilt by Mazda 1,500 miles ago
It was installed in the car when i bought it but I decided to take it out, clean it up, redo the main seal, solid oil pellet mod, painted it, new clutch, pilot bearing, pressure plate, low mileage jspec tranny, etc... all going back into a nice freshly painted engine bay:
the whole project is here:

So I noticed on the picture of the blown motor you have a diffusor in one of the housings and you don't in the other. You are also using the 6 port T2 intake. I wanted to do that but I just couldn't get ahold of one.

Here's the rest of the motor (in the kid's car I sold it to).
I lost track after I spent 50 hours of polishing and I still had everything else to do!
And yes I do make fun of him for the K&N filter where the oil cap is supposed to go.

no- both housings on the blown motor had diffusers in them. there was alot of soot on the rear rotor housing diffuser. as for the lim - it's just a regular tII lim that i ported to fit the 6 ports.

Hmmm, just noticed that I have poor photographic skills! Either way, stock S4 13bt fresh from a rebuild. On the home made ghetto crate and a shot of it sitting in the car! W00T! Crappy pics!

nice setups guys! Any dyno numbers yet for yall? Still gotta get mine running, hopefully this weekend I'll get mine at least idling. We will see.
hey slammedblk7 you still have the 3" exhaust on that thing? I had to switch to a 4" after I saw how big the inlet of the turbo was and how small the 3" exhaust looked compared to it, lol.
