Nardi or Momo steering wheel for the 2nd Gen Rx-7
I am really having a hard time choosing between the Nardi Classic Leather 360mm and the Momo Montecarlo Leather 350mm.
Please give me your opinions on what wheel is a better match for the 2nd Gen FC3S.
Here are some pictures of the wheels:
The Nardi:

The Momo:

Price isn't a real big deal for me as the Momo costs about $250.00 for the wheel/hub vs. the Nardi costing about $350.00

I Love both wheels, but I think I'd go with the MonteCarlo. It just looks right in those pictures above haha. Plus it's cheaper! I know you said price doesn't matter but you could spend the extra money on a nice quick release.
But if you do decide on the nardi, I would go with the deep dish, it looks sweet. All personal preference though.

I prefer a dished wheel on a fc, as I found the gauges hard to read with a flat one. don't really know which would be safer in an accident, but thay may be something to consider!!

Personaly i love momo wheels. Ive driven cars with different steering wheels and i loved how my car felt with my wheel. The gauges werent obstructed at all. Narid personal and many other types of steering wheels remind me of my father and his ideas. Some look exactly like "sports" wheels.

Another thing to consider, if there is ever a cage in a car and there is door bars, it sucks to get out if the steering wheel is sticking way out.
Mine. This is not a monte carlo,

I vote MOMO, looks perfect on the fc. I had the model 78, and loved how it looked. Nardi is nice, don't get me wrong, but would look a little out of place on the fc... at least the one you're thinking of getting. If I were to go Nardi, I'd get the Torino.
It looks exactly like the MOMO, so really you'd just be choosing between the name haha.

I wouldn't use "classy" as a term for that particular Nardi wheel. Maybe "classic" would be more fitting. I really like the look of the Momo Montecarlo. It seems a bit more modern looking, without taking from the stock interior. It ALWAYS comes down to personal preference, really.

I have a Personal currently and it feels great and looks ok (it was 80 shipped w/ a hub) but I have always liked the look of the Nardi as well. The only gripe I have with the design of the nardi is that the spokes are evenly spaced as and thus they point up taking up the real estate where my thumbs like to reside while cruising on the freeway.
