FC vs. FD

I have one of each and I like looking at both of them. The FD is a good example of making a great car better. The FD feels better driving it versus the FC but that is technology talking. I get just as many looks and compliments with both cars. I cannot choose between the two. It's like, Which one of your kids do you love more? I love them equally.

it depends if u like body lines or curves. you have to expect the FD to come better than the FC but if they came with the same engines id choose my FC. but the 13b-rew tt is sexy

I will own my uncles FD soon so....I guess I like both. I am sure the FD will grow on me more BUT not as near as long as it took the FC to. Honestly, when my cousin owned my fc I thought it was just OK. Nothing fancy, I thought it resembled a Dodge Daytona)I HATE people that say that now). It was the engine, power and it's unique and rare platform that sold me.

stock vs stock... FD wins by a mile IMO
but i think i can say i have built an FC that can kick FD *** and turn a lot of heads!
FD is also a little played out, and FC's just keep getting rare...
but to be honest if my FC keeps on living, then i will never change!
if ever i should have to part ways with my car or it gets stolen/wrecked...
i still wont get an FD, but also no FC...
then i go oldskool like rx2/3, 818 or something like that, with 13B-RE or 20B

FC Love
I love all 7's but the FC is like the middle child that gets no attention sometimes. It doesn't have the prestige of an FD and it is not the original. With that being said I give my FC all the attention she wants, and most of my money.

its hard for me to say......but im gonna go with fc.
when it comes to looks the fd sure is sex on wheels. stock or lightly modded body thats dropped both ways is a definite win, but thats the only way i like fds visually.
fcs on the other hand looks sexy stock dropped, added lip dropped, turbo 2 sides and lip dropped and every which way you can think of modded and dropped for looks.
i've never driven an fd but i've sat in my friends fd and yeah its comfortable and snug but its too luxurious(leather interior) of a sports car for me.
if i owned both an fc and fd. the fc is my everything car while my fd is my special occasion car for like a night on the town or long road trips type of thing.

I used to love the FD, the first time I drove one I fell in love. However, there is just something about the FC, as an overall package that I just love. Still love the FD but the FC is by far my favorite car.

Alot of the reactions you get from average people depends on the area you live in I think. In northern VA no one even knew what the hell an RX7 was, now in FL I pull up on drive thrus and usually get something along the lines of "is that a 13B? Carb?"
I think both cars are sick. I personally find FCs more interesting because it keeps the old school Japanese car image vs. the FD which just looks like a modern car. I also feel good about telling people I bought the car for $3000 and built it to inspire people that are drooling over it, also keeps me from being stereotyped as a daddy's boy when people see I'm in school.

well i love them both the same although i must admit that i drive my fc alot more than i drive the FD not cuz i want to preserve the FD but because i love the FCs curves and styling but then again the FD isnt left behind in styling to me they are both beautiful cars that mazda produced for us to enjoy

come on its obvious the FD vs FC stock for stock SHOULD be all in favor for the FD what company would ever make a new gen car that was worse than the gen b4 it? but i feel what spideyfan said that the FC is the middle child. people can tell the FD out of a crowd but unless people knew the FC they probably wouldnt even pass it for a 7 because all they knew was the FD. i personally love my FC she gets my attn. now what really makes me irritated is the new rx8 owners that have no idea what their driving just that its mazda's sports car but that's an entirety in itself.

I prefer the FC, I absolutly love the efni FC and that is a car i hope to own one day. Though i have to say a mildly modded FD is pure seduction, but im not a fan of them when they get more wild in the body mods, though there are quite a few widebody FC's that i love.

cough nissan cough lol.. the 240sx and the Z.. 89-94 240sx just as good as the 95-98, or the 95-98 just wasnt really any improvement, just a different bodystyle and same drivetrain/suspension basically carried over. with teh Zs , some of the older ones are more disarable lol
