If there is one thing that hasn't changed on my car, it is the stock steering in stock location. You must be remembering some other setup. Everything else on my car is changed at least once, and some parts more than 3-4 times.

just a word of advice.. unfortunately, there is no single kit for any proper swap. If you're heavily dependent on any single kit, your project is most likely doomed from the start. Get ready to do some work yourself or to spend some extra cash so you can hire a local shop who can actually finish a complicated car, know their way around your specific vehicle, and willing to put in the time to make it right. If there is nobody local, don't do it.

you just basically modded the steering knuckle right? I've spent a lot of time looking into different setups and I know it won't mean much until I tear out the renesis and start mocking up the 20b.
I think I won't have a problem doing the swap. I just feel like I shouldn't necessarily have to reinvent the wheel either. I have the skills needed to fab and great friends willing to help. Thanks for the words of encouragement

no change to steering knuckles. just had to cut the firewall and have a low profile oil pan made. I think you have the right attitude. if you're willing to put in the work, keep at it, it's doable. good luck and feel free to pm me any questions.

I'm not clear on the significance of a '72 hemi duster, except it sounds rare and clearly simon's truck is sweet. Can someone fill me in?
