My Super 20B Build!

Well after 4 years of buying and searching my 20B FD is a couple of weeks from completion! And want to share with all you guys as much info as possible so you guys can see how far I'm taking it and the quality of build its come to be comparared to others and for you guys to see all the quality parts and work that has gone into the build. Very little expense spared on this build and I focused on weight reduction as well as making the most power with the less stress on go fast parts. A lot of people that think of going 20b all that want is to stick on the biggest turbo and slap on the block and say they have a 20b. I wanted done right and better. Here we go!
#AddictedPermance for putting everything together and getting the car running turnkey perfect for the super deal on parts and for there newest turbo kit and tunning it!
#EliteRotaryShop for making awsome beefy 20b mounts and pointing me on the right direction for parts.
#Aspectunning now out of business but for making that awesome turbo and engine.
#JRAutobody and last but not least big thanks to Marco Guerrero for all the body work and sponsorship on my RX7 Just Great work!

Custom GT45R Turbo-First off this $5k turbo only- it's a Custom Garret GT45R Turbo. Now how is it a 5k turbo you ask? Well We shouded a gt42r housing to fit a gt45 wheel into it and what this did is save us 40lbs just on the turbo alone! Paired with a tial back housing this should spool fast as a gt42r but with more hp And harder punch. Some pics to show just how much lighter this custom GT45R compared to a GT42R with a stock 1.15r hot side. Only thing I regret is not putting a billet wheel wich we couldn't do due to the time frame. But will in the future.

Addicted Performance Turbo kit- Using there latest and newest technology, billet flange, 324ss build 4" DP and equal length Manifold and single 50mm Wastegate. I will be the first of three to try there 20B Turbo kit along with Phil Son and Zach Young the owner of Addicted Performance. Also Using a 4" full exhaust with Jasma mufler and hoping for a very mean sound but we will see.

We used defined auto 20B conversion kit So there was no bump steer and saved weight by not using a heavier aftermarket subframe and not dealing with modifying other things to eliminate bump steer. Also eliminated AC and even though I have it much thought also got rid of P.S. on our quest of keeping as much weight off without striping The car. The actual steel engine mounts were made beefier by #EliteRotaryShop as we saw that difined's were thin and weak and could warp or bend so Sam was great to knowtice it and make better ones.

Exessive lim-For a much better look, flow, hp gain and fuel capacity over the stock lim that also needs to be cut and welded, We went with the Exessive lim that allows for 6 injectors rather than 3 to also fuel the need to try and hit 1000hp.

Elite 2500 ECU- this is probably one of the most important decision we made thanks to Sam at Elite rotary shop. As there are so many options out there and promises with new ecu's, this is a proven and secure ecu that will make you have a perfect turn key car and thanks to them I made the right decision according to my use on this build.

20B block is a half bridge, balanced, dowel pinned, clearenced assembly, using 13brew exhaust sleeves, oem Mazda seals as we shoot for longevity but algo wanting to hit high hp. This is a 700hp reliable build engine all day. Built to hold 1000hp wich is the marc to hit.

Garret 1000hp IC Set up- this is a front mount IC, 4.5 inch thick core using custom end tanks and focusing on minimal amount of pipe bends for better flow and optimum eficiency.

Billet RW Throttle body am And 50mm BOV- As rumors that this throttle body leaks and seeing that people like Jared Holt we're using it in his 700hp monster with no issues I definitely had to get it for the hp and torque gains no matter how small and for the supper nice and clean look. And we'll you can't go wrong with the best BOV, 50MM Tial.

Fuel system- With the injectors, we had to go with nothing less than 6 ID 2000's secondaries and 3 ID 1000's primaries using FFE Fuel rails that look outstanding as much as these perform. Used CJ's dual pump hanger with dual walbro 485 E85 compatible pumps and all braided lines of course and Aero FPR. Enough fuel for over 1000hp.

13Brew front cover- Used the 13REW front cover and components like the trigger and all. As haltech highly suggests to use the stock trigger over aftermarket ones.

Exedy double plated clutch- we decided to stick with this clutch for now as I plan on upgrading trans, diff etc To be able to handle high hp and hot worry of thins braking next winter. As now there are more options this is something I will really need the experts opinion on.

32 Row dual oil coolers and components- Even though the Car is an 1994 R2 with stock dual oil coolers we opted to go with mere oil cooling potential. Also Used IRP water pump and MC brace.

Alex Rodriguez Abs delete kit- In our venture off losing as much weight and having a much cleaner engine bay we went with alex abs delete kit. Also did a wire tuck of course.

Ohlins Coilovers- And of course we couldn't have but some of the best suspensions out there.

RS05RR Wheels- long debate but these just won me over. Light and nasty! Wrapped in Michelin Pilot SS tires.

Recaro Leather Seats- Even though these were a mission to mount and fit we got them to go. 2-3 inches higher to clear the seat bolster but tight fit. Well worth it though.

Exterior mods- Porche vibrant red done a year ago and engine just recently done along with powder coating super dust several engine components as seen in the pics. VIS carbon scoot hood, feed side skirts, 99 spec wing, Ken Diffuser, feed front bumper and HWL headlights. Wide body coming soon.

The build is not fully complete and will have more pics, videos, and a dyno sheet for all you to see the final results. Any questions or comments are welcome as I look to give people info and share my experience. We will see if this 4 years of building pays off and I really hope not to be disappointed. Will also add more stuff if I remember other things I probably forgot.
