fd3s & 20b & haltech tach problem

My friend it have a 3 rotor 20b engine on fd3s chassis with haltech ecu.
The problem is that we can not adjust the tach to read the correct rpm.
Any how to or a link who describe how to solve the problem will help.
Thanks

Haltech controls the tach reading just fine w/o any issues, Microtech is the one that needs the digital adapter to step down the rpm. Are you sure he's running a haltech?

Is the tach reading 1/2 of what it should? If so, I was having the same issue with mine. To resolve the problem, simply click CTRL-O (Auxiliary Output Options) and go to edit whichever PWM output you're using for your tach. His is probably reading 2 tacho pulses per cycle. Change that to 4. Problem should be solved!
