HID/LED sealed projector CONV/DIY QnA
Looking to upgrade my sealed H6024 headlamps with some HID or LED sealed or replaceable bulbs. My questions are :
Is there space behind the headlight to house a fan equpped LED bulb?
After replacing the alternator on my car with a FC one, the Voltage o the dash kind of fluctuates. Much better the Bosch OEM one It looks good one minutes it then starts to hover round the 12v line. Is this just old electronics not working well or do i have a charging issue not related to the alternator?
Im thinking its a tight space behind the headlight but if it takes a replaceable led bulb with the fan Id try it and report it to all. Thanks in advance its an 84 GSL

You might want to check out an old thread of mine, save you some work.

A quality sealed LED is great and I might eventually invest in a set but in the meantime im always looking for a thrifty fix, something different and cost effective! You get what you pay for right? I could go H4 HID as well right? Or is there actually a space constraint?

The ground on drive fender was cleaned the one on the engine might be my issue. but I did manage to remove the bolt sand down both surfaces. Was'nt easy. The alt was not tested prior to install :/ i can run it with a multimeter next chance I have. I hear things about an external regulator that could be causing some issue. Car is completely stock and I def noticed a night and day difference when i R&R'd it. But its possible that the rebuilt unit is not performing well? It's an FC alternator from Advance Auto. Will replace belt and report and check Output

IPF Round 7 Inch H4 Headlamp Inserts (920H)
This is my project and I need a nice set of lights that look OEM and at the same time provide great illumination..

I think H4s are the way to go. Nice and bright, affordable and not so heavy on the electrical if
